How to Handle a Coarse, Loud Mouth Television Host

The View is known for its hosts having political opinions and discussing them loudly, but when did it degenerate to name calling? I am not a viewer of this program because I found these women shrill. Joy may not agree with the ad that Angle is running in Nevada and it is clear that she doesn't agree with Angle's platform, but is it really necessary to call her names and to tell her to go to hell? She didn't contribute anything to the discussion, but just made it more divisive. If anything it contributes to the coarseness of life in general and shows the continuing degradation of manners in this country.

Count how many times that Joy Behar calls Sharron Angle the b-word.

However Sharron Angle seems to know exactly how to answer Joy's offensiveness and do it in such a way to showcase Joy's ill manners and increase her campaign's funding. If anything, Joy inadvertently helped Sharron's case and the least Sharron could do was send her flowers. I have no doubt that this second clip will continue to help Sharron's campaign in Nevada against Harry Reid.

Now, I know that Joy is very smart, I hope she knows that illegal aliens can't vote. In addition, it was Barbara who called her offensive, all Sharron did was thank Joy. First Meg Whitman was called a whore, now Sharron Angle is called the b-word. How many think that if Michelle Obama was called the b-word that Joy would be the first to be loudly offended? Yet she has problems conducting a civil discourse about a Republican woman running for a Senate seat. What does that say about her ability to do the job in a professional way? Unfortunately we can't vote Joy off the show. However, people can stop watching The View and stop listening to her radio show on HLN.

Behar apparently was talked to by the producers because she issued an apology - sort of. Really, can this woman be any less professional? First she call Angle the b-word for two days and since enough people complained to the network about her that they told her to apologize or be dismissed, she apologizes without apologizing. Her big mouth is so loud when it comes to other people doing what she considers the wrong thing but she sure is quiet when she has to own up to doing the wrong thing. She hasn't stopped being offensive. I really hope that people don't watch this show anymore.
